However, unbeknownst to the Archangel, he had been just a little bit too fast with his summoning of the Krystallos demon. The creature managed to catch up with Danika before she could make herself scarce, tearing a good chunk of flesh from her right calf and in doing so, the venom from its bite nullified the effect of the Synth.After barely escaping with her life that night, Danika went into deep cover, fearing not only for her life but for that of her remaining friends.
